PwC will allow for employees to work from home

During the past year and a half, we have proven that our people can successfully meet our clients’ needs while working remotely. I’m excited to announce that we’re taking the next step in our virtual journey by allowing our people to opt into more virtual roles.

In addition, with digitization and automation, our people are taking on more complex assignments earlier in their careers. Rather than most promotions occurring annually, we’re following a twice a year promotion cycle that will allow us to recognize those who are demonstrating skills at the next level. These changes allow us to more quickly reward and celebrate high-performance.

Our success depends on attracting and developing the right skills and talent to serve our clients now and in the future. We’re proud to be the first large professional services firm to take action to give our people more of what they want and need right now. We’re excited about new hybrid ways of working and will continue to innovate on how to provide more flexibility to our people in the future.

Last Friday, we also released our FY21 Purpose Report. As we seek to deliver on our strategy, we embraced the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; operating responsibly in sustainable ways; and driving a human-led, tech-powered approach. We launched a new site where you can find the report, along with interactive data to understand where we are and where we’re going.
